Thérèse Rochford

Thérèse is Head of the firm’s corporate department where she manages a broad-based corporate and commercial practice. She has extensive experience of public company flotations, rights issues, placings and stock exchange compliance. Thérèse advises many of Ireland’s mineral and resource companies to whom she provides a range of corporate and commercial services.

She also advises private companies in many other sectors – including manufacturing, renewable energy, IT, food and biotechnology – on a wide range of issues such as mergers and acquisitions, MBO’s, MBI’s, raising finance and corporate governance. She also represents venture capital companies and private investment ‘business angel’ funds.

Thérèse qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and became a partner in the firm in 1997, having practised in the City of London for a number of years.

Thérèse is a member of the Executive Council of the Irish Software Association.
