Funding Arrangements with Liquidators

August 2011

The High Court has set down its position in relation to funding arrangements with court-appointed liquidators.  The court has held that a court-appointed liquidator is to receive such remuneration as directed by the court but that the court has inherent jurisdiction to modify the provisions of the rules of court.

Changes to Copyright Law imminent following High Court Ruling

Crystallisation of Floating Charge and Liability to Pay Preferential Creditors
